Weddings
It is your moment in history! Nevada City is a wonderful and picturesque wedding destination during every season. The Parsonage would be honored to host your intimate, wedding gatherings (wedding, rehearsal dinner, reception, bridal shower, bachelorette party, honeymoon, vow renewal, or elopement). We have a dedicated team and a list of talented vendors including photographers, caterers, florists and wedding planners that would be happy to recommend for your special day.
A Great Place From Which to Observe…
Because the house is located on Broad Street, you will have a front row seat to all of the city's parades, events and celebrations. In our opinion, there is no better way to celebrate the 4th of July, Summer Nights, Mardi Gras, or Victorian Christmas, than with direct access to the festivities happening right outside your front yard. Having your own private space (and parking) ensures you will always have a place to retreat, unwind, and call your own.
Other Events
The Parsonage is equipped with both indoor and outdoor space to accommodate events from 10 to 90 people. Give your guests an unforgettable experience by hosting at the Parsonage 1865. While larger groups can only be accommodated outside, some of our most memorable evenings at the Parsonage 1865 are underneath the stars, listening to live music, and sharing an experience with those we love!
